For those of you who did not grow up in my house, you are probably wondering how this Bonanza Christmas made the cut????
Well, we listened to this on the reel to reel for so many years ( not yet technologically advanced yet? or maybe we were for the 70’s?) – while we made mincemeat tarts. . . cutting the strips of pastry to go across the tarts, and using our fingertips to spread cream on the pastry, so that they would brown just right.
I can smell Christmas when I listen to this . . . God Bless you gentlemen, God Bless you!!!!!
ABSOLUTELY!! Love Lorne Greene and all the Bonanza Family. I have the whole episode memorized (12 + songs) and it defines my childhood Christmases… Aahh…. love it!
