Day 23 – “When days get colder, I am one step closer to where I want to be…” Coming Home for Christmas, is a great song for today, we are getting together for Christmas Dinner today with my family in Sherwood Park, all my kids, spouses and granddaughters… So Excited to be together!! Merry Christmas
If you didn’t know (I didn’t) “Carol of the Bells” is based on the Ukrainian New Year celebration song “Shchedryk“. The music for the carol comes from the song written and arranged between 1901 or 1919. English-language lyrics were written in 1936. Enjoy this amazing performance in Ukrainian!

Day 17 – Todays song is from Peter Hollens, this is a repeat from 8 years ago, but it is such a great song and performance, enjoy, December Song for the 18th of December. Peter is amazing, and has a great Christmas Album.
Day 16 – Another new artist to the list, enjoy “Welcome the Child.” A wonderful addition to any contemporary Christmas program, the expectant lyrics and simple harmonies invite us to celebrate the coming of the Christ Child. “welcome the child who is born today”
