Ok, so the video is cheesy and young – but alas it is from a Disney movie about the Prom – – don’t even get me started about the Prom! Yikes! Yes, I have my opinions. . . . and with my oldest daughter just entering High School this year ( Yowsers!) You will probably figure out my opinions fairly quickly about the Prom. . . .
But back to the song – – so it was Duane’s birthday yesterday, and we had a fun little adventure – – – we spent the day in Cutbank MT – – – I know – what do you do in Cutbank MT? Well, back to school shopping at JC Penny’s ( saved $174! Nice) Groceries at Albertsons, checked out Billman’s Furniture store – – – wow! May have found a solution to our basement theater seating. . . .now we just need some $$ – – still looking for a solution for that. Met a lovely lady at Coulee Quilts – great little store – Birthday supper at Pizza Hut – – – I think it has been about 5 years since I have been to a pizza hut – – and now I remember why. See you in another 5 years or so Pizza Hut. . . . oh, and Birthday cake in the park. Oh yea, and we even found the largest penguin in the world! It was a fun day!
But now that birthday season is officially over at our house – – we will do like the song says and party like it’s not your birthday for the next 8 and a half months!

Yup – Birthday Season = 7 birthdays between April 30 and August 16 – Looking forward to the day that we can just have 1 Giant Birthday!!!! Hmmmm time to start planning that party! Ha Ha!!!
