So when I was “running like a mother” this week, this song was in my head… I tried to sing it the other mothers. . . . told them I would blog it…. so here you go – this the song! Maybe you didn’t ‘hear’ it because I am not a great rapper (ha ha – I didn’t even try that part, cause it’s not my favorite part of the song… ha ha)
This week, Duane reminded me that music is one of those things that helps me get through stuff – it helps, him and the kids too. When the kitchen is a DISASTER. . . turn on the tunes and get to work! When any of those tasks seem too big, or too hard – turn up the tunes – like REALLY TURN UP the tunes…
and remember –
My heart’s a stereo
It beats for you, so listen close
Hear my thoughts in every no-o-o-te
Make me your radio
And turn me up when you feel low
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo
It beats for you, so listen close
Hear my thoughts in every no-o-o-te
Make me your radio
And turn me up when you feel low
This melody was meant for you
Just sing along to my stereo
Have a great week! Turn up the tunes this week when you need a little something.
