So one of the things that I learned on my trip was that I really want to live life like a tourist – – see it all, do it all, and enjoy where I live. I know I don’t live by the ocean, where I can ride my bike, swim or run outside all year long, but there are great things about where I live –

and I am determined to discover them. . . .

after IRONMAN ( ha ha – still procrastinating. . . . ) Seriously though. I am so grateful that I was able to see and live life through tourist eyes, so that I could see the positive about where I am planted. . . .

I am also so grateful that I am ‘alive’.  The last 5 years of my life are so different, and I truly feel alive now – – here are some of the things I was able to do, that would not have been possible. . . .

Run in the Taiwan Mountains
Climb the Taiwan Crags
Soak in the secret hot springs and stand in a waterfall
Bike to the ocean
Go to the temple in Taiwan
Get a hair wash ( which is really just a massage – LOVELY)
Go for Indian Food
Go for all kinds of great food
Swim at the American Club
Get a tour of the American School
Spend time with Carrie and her family at their home in Taiwan
Shop for fruits and vegetables in the market in Taiwan
Ride the scooter with Carrie
Meet Koda
Buy Lilies from a lily field farmer on the side of the road
Meet Carries wonderful friends and neighbors
Set off a lantern
See a really cool waterfall that looks like a mini Niagra Falls
Ride the train
